When Boston College decided to overhaul its Yawkey Athletic Center, they came to ADTECH Systems
to help create one of America's best state-of-the-art facilities.
ADTECH's engineers provided Boston College with unique systems that allowed real time annotation
overlay of video, enabling coaches to play back game video, freeze the image where needed, and
annotate on the image using a separate touch-screen flat panel display.
The technology was integrated into multiple larger classrooms and the offensive and defensive
line rooms. With the help of ADTECH Systems, Boston College now can claim one of the most
technologically advanced athletic training facilities in America.
Lunch room and large meeting hall: Two HDTV projectors with electric screens, advanced audio,
satellite television integration, as well multiple display sources, custom lighting and shading
system are all controlled by a custom programmed Crestron ™ control system utilizing
multiple wall-mounted touch-screen controls and a master touch-screen control panel.
Multiple Classrooms: Projectors and screens, Crestron™ touch-screen annotation over
video system, custom lighting and lighting control with shade control, complete audio systems
and speakers, are all integrated and controlled by a Crestron™ touch-screen unit.
Offensive and Defensive Line Rooms: These two identical rooms also use the Crestron™
touch-screen annotation over video system, projector, screen, complete audio, and custom lighting
and control.
Gym and Players Lounge: ADTECH Systems was a part of every room design. Multiple LCD screens
were installed in the gym as well as audio and control systems and audio, lighting control,
and a plasma television were added to the players' lounge.
