General Sylvanus Thayer, know as the father of the U.S. military academy including the motto "Duty, Honor, Country," willed the balance of his estate for the erection of an academy in which young persons shall be educated. In 1877, Thayer Academy opened as a fulfillment of that wish. Since that time, Thayer has set a standard of academic excellence. When Thayer Academy decided to modernize its audio-visual capabilities, it asked ADTECH Systems for help.

Weight Room and Cardio Room: This unique room with high ceilings and partial all glass enclosure provided unique acoustical challenges. ADTECH Systems along with Bose™ audio, engineered and built a custom audio solution (speakers, sound isolation, amplification, and audio distribution) that dealt with these wide open spaces and acoustical challenges. ADTECH also added multiple flat panel displays throughout the room to give Thayer Academy a state-of-the-art facility.

Cafeteria: Thayer Academy wanted to make their cafeteria into an area that could also be used as a multimedia room for large presentations. An electronic screen, complete audio and video distribution system, video projector, and speakers were a part of the system.

Multiple Classrooms and Science Lab: Electronic whiteboards can make a teacher's life so much easier by allowing them to capture, save, and print their written notes directly from the whiteboards. ADTECH Systems installed Polyvision™ whiteboards and complete audio and video systems in multiple rooms to create state-of-the-art multimedia tools for Thayer Academy.
