Bronze Level Service Plan
Guaranteed Response Time: ADTECH Systems guarantees a response time (return call) within 2 hours
of any service request. Service calls to ADTECH must be made by someone familiar with the service
issue so that ADTECH has the opportunity to diagnose the issue over the phone before dispatching
a service technician if needed. Should it be determined that the situation does require an on-site
technician visit, the service will be scheduled to take place as early as possible within normal
business hours, but no later than 24 hours from the initial call.
Unlimited On-site Emergency Visits: ADTECH does not limit the number of times we will come on-site
to fix issues. Each service call must be handled in the described manner above in order to diminish
the likelihood of unnecessary on-site visits.
Warranty and Non-Warranty Repairs: All equipment repairs under manufacturers warranty will be
covered under this contract. Repairs include all labor and travel expenses as well as any necessary
standard ground shipping fees required in sending the equipment or parts back to the manufacturer.
Items can be expedited at customer's expense or on customer's shipping account. The customer will be
charged part and labor costs for equipment that is beyond the manufacturers warranty period. The
customer will not be charged for technician labor and travel expenses to diagnose an issue and remove
the defective equipment from customer's premises. ADTECH prefers that the customer issue a blanket
purchase order at the start time of this contract so that ADTECH can invoice for out-of-warranty repairs.
No item shall be repaired without ADTECH providing the customer with a written estimate; also, no item
shall be repaired without prior written approval from customer. Should a customer decide not to have an
out-of-warranty item repaired, an $80.00 bench evaluation fee will be charged to the customer to cover
the costs of diagnostics. If the customer decides to purchase a replacement item from ADTECH, the $80.00
bench fee shall be deducted from the purchase price of the new equipment.
Projector/Loaner Swap: ADTECH guarantees to provide a loaner projector throughout the contract period
should an in-warranty projector covered under this contract ever need to be removed for repair. The
loaner projector shall have similar specifications* and will be installed by an ADTECH technician free
of charge. The defective unit shall be removed and returned and installed following repair. Out-of-warranty
projectors are also covered under this program, but no out-of-warranty projector shall be repaired without
written prior authorization. Once a written estimate is given for an out-of–warranty repair, the customer
shall have 48 hours to decide if they wish ADTECH to make repairs. After 48 hours a $200.00 a day rental fee
shall be accessed per day until a decision on the out-of-warranty repair is made. * Loaner projectors that
are replacing projectors that are controlled by Crestron, AMX, or any other control system may not function
in the system the same way as the original. On/off and source selection might have to be accomplished via a
separate projector remote until original projector is repaired and reinstalled.
Loaners: ADTECH does not provide loaner equipment free of charge for anything other than projectors covered
under this contract. ADTECH is not required to make your system functional should any item vital to its function
other than the projector, require off-site repair. Instead, the system will stay as is until the item is repaired
and returned, at which time the ADTECH technician will reinstall it and bring your system back to full operating performance.
Lamps: Lamps are a user replaceable item. Should a lamp fail within the manufacturers' lamp warranty (typically 90 days),
our emergency service will include our technician replacing such lamp within 24 hours of call so long as such lamp
is in stock. Should an out-of-warranty lamp unexpectedly fail, a replacement lamp can be purchased. Emergency
replacement by an ADTECH technician is included in this contract for out-of-warranty lamps.
Early Termination: In the event that the Customer wishes to terminate this plan before the expiration date agreed
upon, ADTECH Systems shall refund the unused portion of Customers payment on a pro-rated basis. No early termination fees shall apply.
